Brian and I were married on August 9, 2003 after dating all through high school and college. We spent our first four years of marriage just enjoying our time as a couple. We traveled, volunteered, finished school, started careers, bought a house, and started fixing it up.
Then on July 4, 2007 we found out we were expecting our first child! Adalae Arlene was then born on March 5, 2008 - a day that changed our lives forever. We chose the middle name Arlene after both my mother and great-grandmother. Addie is a thoughtful, intelligent, kind, and simply a fun-loving child.
Three years later on July 31, 2010 we learned that we were expecting our second child. Max Rodger's arrival on March 24, 2011was 3 weeks early, but we were blessed with a second beautiful and healthy child. Max's middle name also has family ties as it comes from my maiden name, Rodgers. Max is a very laid back, happy, and sweet little guy.
Addie has proven herself to be an amazing big sister to Max. We love watching the two of them together and learning how we all fit together as a family of four!
